Channel Energy along with Poti Sea Port management attended Port Finance Conference in Istanbul
Delta Petroleum sponsorsed PORT FINANCE conference, which was held on the 12th and 13th of May, for the first time in Turkey at the Grand Cevahir Hotel - Istanbul. During the conference, managers of the Turkish ports, Far East and Caspian region ports discussed business development and expansion projects of their regional ports and how t hey have been financed.

Goverment of Georgia announces that it has successfully completed Poti Sea port Privatisation
The majority sale of Poti Sea Port, the leading port in Georgia,to RAS AL KHAIMAH(RAK) investment authotirty. POTI SEA PORT(PSP) has been operating since 1858 and is equipped with modern cargo handling facilities and comprimises a general cargo terminal, bulk cargo terminals, container terminal, ferry terminal and oil terminal in adddition to majarity equity stake, RAK Investment Authority has purchased 300Ha. plat of land situated near PSP, on which it intends to build and operate a free industrial zone area.

5th Georgian International Oil, Gas, Energy & Infrastructure Conference
Channel Energy has been one of the sponsors of GIOGIE 2006 between 16-17 th March 2006 which was held in Tbilisi, Georgia. Channel Energy Poti Terminal Manager Mr. Hakan Güner had a speech about "Increase Competitiveness of Poti Oil Terminal" at the conference.

Opening of Channel Energy's new Oil Terminal at Poti - Georgia
The first phase had been completed in October, 2002. Georgian President Mikhail Saakshvili and Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli also attended the opening hosted by the Delta Group Executive Board Chairman Mehmet Habbab.
